A parent of one of my students says that "Every day, S opens up his dictionary & reads it in the morning, & when he gets home from school. He touches that book at least 10x a day!" S's vocabulary score increased on the DOE's iReady test.

My students were so excited to see all the books in our classroom. They love going to the reading corner to look through the books and pick a different one to read. Prior to receiving the books from Book fairies, our classroom only had a few books!

My students were so excited to go book shopping for the first time. We have been working on our reading stamina by reading 2 more minutes independently each day. They made it to 20 minutes this week and were so engaged with the new books in our library.
