As the Publisher of the Long Island Press, Joanna Austin gets straight to the point,  shining light on where business intersects community, politics and social. Joanna connects the East and West with the North and South shores.

Prior to taking the helm at the Press, Joanna spent two decades creating brands and building businesses with some of the world’s global companies including some household names: Maybelline, Olay, Microsoft, Visa.

With her deep understanding of the CPG, luxury, health & beauty and consumer tech markets, Joanna’s seasoned skills include strategic program ideation, development and execution, retailer strategy and sell-in, talent recruitment, management consulting, marketing, communications, digital strategy and event management.

A story teller, serial marketer, brand builder, business generator, public speaker and mother to three boys and a dog, Joanna is always looking for the next big scoop.
