Amazon

We are grateful to Amazon for all of the ways in which they have chosen to support our mission. Amazon provides pro-bono delivery/pick up of books, logistical advice, corporate sorting in our warehouse, as well as financial support. The entire Amazon team wrapped their arms around Book Fairies, working with our team to make sure every child has access to books.

Target

Thanks to Target’s financial and in-kind support, we have made significant progress in advancing our mission. In addition to receiving financial support from the Target Foundation, we were also featured as a Target Circle charity. This allowed customers to vote for us and in return we received a financial donation. The Target team has also volunteered in the Book Bank to sort books, review our warehouse procedures for operational efficiency, installed new racks and provided necessary equipment. We are grateful for Target’s unwavering support.

Testimonials

A parent of one of my students says that "Every day, S opens up his dictionary & reads it in the morning, & when he gets home from school. He touches that book at least 10x a day!" S's vocabulary score increased on the DOE's iReady test.

My students were so excited to see all the books in our classroom. They love going to the reading corner to look through the books and pick a different one to read. Prior to receiving the books from Book fairies, our classroom only had a few books!

Ms. M at PS 104 Queens, NY

My students were so excited to go book shopping for the first time. We have been working on our reading stamina by reading 2 more minutes independently each day. They made it to 20 minutes this week and were so engaged with the new books in our library.
